Dinoblue achieves victory in Naas gaming event

Dinoblue Dominates Season Opener with Impressive Victory

In a thrilling start to the new season, Dinoblue showcased her determination by clinching the Barberstown Castle Chase at Naas. The mare, owned by JP McManus, carried forward her momentum from the previous season’s triumph and emerged as a formidable force.

Despite finishing as runner-up when considered a favorite for the Grand Annual at Cheltenham Festival in March, Dinoblue went on to secure victories at Fairyhouse and Punchestown before enjoying a well-deserved summer break. The six-year-old made her reappearance in style, starting as the 5-6 market leader in a Grade Three contest previously known as Poplar Square Chase.

Under the expert guidance of jockey Mark Walsh, Dinoblue displayed exceptional jumping skills and traveled with great zest throughout the race. Unfortunately, stablemate Sir Gerhard crashed out two fences from home, leaving Fil Dor as her sole serious contender.

Fil Dor did his best to chase down Dinoblue on the run-in but fell short against Willie Mullins-trained mare who always had enough in reserve to hold him off. With a length and three-quarters advantage over Fil Dor, Dinoblue gracefully crossed the post.

Frank Berry, racing manager for JP McManus expressed his delight with Dinoblue’s performance stating: “She jumped flawlessly and handled the ground superbly well. This impressive start sets an encouraging tone for what lies ahead this season.”

    Future Plans and Expectations

While plans for Dinoblue are yet to be finalized by trainer Willie Mullins, it is anticipated that she will participate in similar competitions going forward. Benefitting from allowances given during this race was crucial for her success, and she is expected to build upon this performance in upcoming events.

Mark Walsh, the jockey who partnered with Dinoblue for this triumphant race, expressed his satisfaction with her performance. As he looked forward to future races, there was a sense of optimism that Dinoblue will continue to improve as the season progresses.

    Conclusion

Dinoblue’s dominant victory in the Barberstown Castle Chase at Naas marks an exciting start to the new season. With her exceptional jumping skills and unwavering determination, she proves herself as a force to be reckoned with on the racing circuit. As fans eagerly await her next appearance, anticipation builds for more thrilling performances from this impressive mare.
