Javier Tebas, La Liga President’s response on social media platform Twitter after Real Madrid Forward – Vinicius Jnr spoke about being racially abused made former Manchester City and England defender Micah Richards angry.
Tebas responded by saying Vinicius twice did not turn up for a meeting to discuss what can be done in cases like these. He added; “Before you criticise and slander La Liga, you need to inform yourself properly”. However, Micah insisted Tebas tried making himself a victim in his statement stating that it makes him boil with anger because racism is beyond football but rather something people go through every day of their lives.
