Former Worcester Warriors Player Expresses Mixed Emotions Over Club Departure, Looks Forward to New Chapter in Coventry

Former Worcester Warriors Flanker Matt Kvesic Joins Coventry in Championship

The world of rugby has been rocked yet again with the recent announcement that former Worcester Warrior, Matt Kvesic, has joined Coventry for at least the 2023-24 campaign. This comes just a year after his boyhood club won their first major trophy only to go bust a few months later.

Kvesic’s Journey Back to English Rugby

Last season, Kvesic spent most of his time playing for Zebre in Italy after the Warriors’ move into administration back in September. The 31-year-old is now back and raring to go with his new team, which he describes as “young and growing.”

Despite being offered an opportunity by Zebre to play in the United Rugby Championship last November, joining Coventry was too good an opportunity for him to pass up.
