Scotland Faces Selection Issues for Euro 2024 Qualifier
The road to Euro 2024 has not been without its challenges for Scotland. As they prepare for their penultimate qualifier against Georgia, a number of key players find themselves absent from the lineup.
In goal, Angus Gunn will be sorely missed as the first-choice goalkeeper. Additionally, regular defenders Aaron Hickey, Andrew Robertson, and Kieran Tierney are all unavailable. The team will also have to make do without striker Che Adams.
In light of these absences, manager Steve Clarke has called up Lawrence Shankland to replace Adams upfront. Meanwhile, young talent Josh Doig could potentially seize his opportunity on the left side of defense.
