The third new signing is Chandler Cunningham-South, who can play at flanker or number eight. The forward made his senior debut with the Exiles last May and went on to make 19 Premiership appearances last season scoring three tries. He has represented England in Under-20 Six Nations competition over the past two years and named to their team for this year’s U20 World Championships.

Billy Millard was recently appointed as Director of Rugby at Harlequins said that he was “pleased” to welcome these fantastic signings into their club while providing these talented young athletes with an opportunity to remain competing within the Premiership despite having left their former club under difficult circumstances due to suspension.

    Gratitude and New Opportunities

In light of the news, Lovejoy Chawatama released a statement to express his gratitude saying that “London Irish will always have a special place in my heart. I am so grateful for the six years I spent at the club, and will forever cherish the memories made with players, staff, and fans.”

Chandler Cunningham-South also expressed his excitement about joining his new team while thanking everyone from London Irish for their support. He was quoted on Quins’ website as saying: “I’m excited to be starting a new opportunity at Harlequins and extremely grateful for the chance to join the club.”
