Tottenham Signs Dejan Kulusevski on Permanent Deal from Juventus
Tottenham Hotspur has confirmed the signing of Sweden winger, Dejan Kulusevski, on a permanent deal from Juventus. The 23-year-old initially joined Spurs in January 2022 on an 18-month loan with an option to buy for £29.2m. However, after his impressive performances at the club, he was signed permanently for a reduced fee of £25m.
During his time at Tottenham, Kulusevski scored seven goals in 57 appearances and helped secure Champions League qualification in the 2021-22 season. He is considered one of the most promising young wingers in Europe and has been recognized as such by numerous awards.
Kulusevski’s Journey to Victory
Dejan Kulusevski left Sweden at just sixteen years old to join Atalanta before spending the 2019-20 season out on loan with Parma. After impressing during his time there, Atalanta sold him to Juventus for £30m plus a potential £8.5m additional fees.
The Swedish International scored nine times in seventy-four games during his stint at Juve and made quite a name for himself within Italian football circles. After joining Spurs last year under Antonio Conte’s management team , he quickly became one of their standout performers – culminating into winning ‘Guldbollen’, which recognized him as Sweden’s best male player of the year back home.
