Jeffrey Epstein’s Letter to Larry Nassar
New documents have surfaced revealing that disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein sent a letter to former Olympic doctor Larry Nassar while he was imprisoned. The contents of the discovered letter remain a mystery, and it is unclear if the two men had any previous relationship. Epstein, who was accused of child sex trafficking, died in his New York City jail cell before his trial could take place.
The new documents shed light on Epstein’s behavior during his time at Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC), including his attempt to communicate with Nassar. The State Appellate Defender Office has stated that they are unaware of any connection between Nassar and Epstein or knowledge of this correspondence. Nassar is currently serving a 60-year sentence in federal prison for child pornography charges and an additional 40-to-175 year state prison sentence after pleading guilty to sexual assault charges from over 150 female victims, including Olympic gold medalists Aly Raisman and McKayla Maroney.
Epstein had been charged with running a trafficking ring where he allegedly sexually abused underage girls between 2002-2005. He worked with employees and associates according to the indictment but died before facing trial. Despite being out of reach for further questioning after death, these newly released documents add more confusion surrounding Jeffery Epstein’s life and crimes.
