Embiid Propels 76ers to Victory, Celtics on Verge of Elimination in NBA Playoffs

    The Game

In a matchup between the Eastern Conference rivals, Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey led the Philadelphia 76ers to a resounding victory over the Boston Celtics at TD Garden. The win gives the Sixers an impressive series lead of three games to two against their historic foes in this season’s playoffs. Despite his excellent form, Joel is taking nothing for granted and wants his team to focus on finishing off the job in Philly where they hope to clinch victory and reach their first finals since 2001. Jayson Tatum led Boston’s scoring with a stunning 36 points while Jaylen Brown added an admirable 24 but it was simply not enough as they were overwhelmed by a relentless Sixers outfit that prevented them from taking control of any part of the game after being outplayed from quarter one.
