Gloucester Rugby extends contract with England hooker Jack Singleton

In a recent development, Gloucester Rugby has extended the contract of England hooker Jack Singleton. The 26-year-old joined the Cherry and Whites from Saracens in 2020 and has since made nearly 50 appearances for the team.

Singleton is known to be a reliable player when it comes to set-pieces, but his contributions are not just limited to that. He puts in consistent work around the pitch and serves as an important asset for his team.

The fact that he is a three-time capped international only adds further value to his name. Unfortunately, he suffered a severe leg injury last December which required surgery and kept him on the sidelines ever since. However, it’s expected that he’ll return before the start of next season.

“We’re clearly delighted to keep a player of Jack’s calibre at Kingsholm,” said head coach George Skivington about extending Singleton’s contract. “It’s been tough for him this year with his injury, but we’re excited to have him back up and running going into the new season.”

This news follows several other players who also signed new deals with Gloucester Rugby this month including props Kirill Gotovtsev, Mayco Vivas Alex Seville Ciaran Knight along with fly-half Lloyd Evans.
