Exciting Development: Eagles Secure New Venue for CS2 Season

Welcome to the Guild Eagles: Bad News Eagles Find a New Nest

After flying solo for over a year, the Bad News Eagles have finally found their new home in the world of Counter-Strike 2. In an exciting announcement on November 13th, this Balkan team revealed their partnership with Guild Esports. This comes as another significant step for Guild Esports, who previously acquired a female team earlier this year.

Although they won’t be playing under the “Guild” name directly, the Bad News Eagles have now been renamed as the Guild Eagles following their integration into this prominent organization. The team lineup includes acclaimed players such as juanflatroo and features former Major winner Devilwalk as their coach.

The addition of the Bad News Eagles to Guild Esports brings anticipation and excitement for fans within the CS2 community. While they may not consistently make it to the playoffs of major tournaments, this squad truly shines during Majors. Notably, they reached the Legends Stage in all three previous Valve-sponsored events, even eliminating FaZe Clan at IEM Rio CS:GO Major 2022.

The current CS2 scene is undergoing various roster changes among top teams who are looking to rebuild their lineups and strengthen themselves further. However, in contrast to these transitions taking place elsewhere, Guild Eagles aim to embark on a new era of Counter-Strike with stability in their roster.

Guild Eagles: Aim High for Upcoming CS2 Major

In less than six months from now, Copenhagen will host PGL’s highly anticipated first-ever CS2 Major event in March 2024. If history is any indication of what’s to come, it should almost be expected that we see Guild Eagles make an appearance at this prestigious tournament considering their past achievements.

However, up until now, Guild Eagles have struggled to reach the finals of any CS2 tournaments. Their performance in online events like CCT East Europe Series 3 has seen them fall short, unable to progress beyond the quarterfinals.

Nevertheless, with the support and resources provided by Guild Esports behind them, there is great optimism that this Balkan team will only grow stronger. The Bad News Eagles have proven time and again that they are a force to be reckoned with in the world of Counter-Strike.

Their journey as the newly-formed Guild Eagles begins now. As fans eagerly await their upcoming matches on this prestigious stage, expectations are high for them to showcase their true potential and secure victories against formidable opponents.

The future looks promising for this resilient team as they prepare themselves for an exhilarating CS2 season filled with opportunities for redemption and glory. Stay tuned as we witness how these fierce eagles soar higher than ever before!
