In a thrilling encounter at The Hundred, Alice Davidson-Richards showcased her exceptional skills with the ball, leading the Northern Superchargers to a resounding seven-wicket victory over Birmingham Phoenix.

The all-around talent took an impressive three wickets for just twenty runs, leaving the away side struggling to reach a total of only 110-8. Despite their struggles, opening batswoman Sophie Devine fought valiantly and contributed a solid knock of 46 runs.

However, it was Phoebe Litchfield’s unbeaten score of 42 that truly turned the tide in favor of the Superchargers. Alongside Marie Kelly and captain Hollie Armitage, Litchfield formed crucial partnerships that put their team in command.

With just sixteen runs needed for victory after Armitage’s dismissal, Litchfield and Davidson-Richards held their nerves and guided their side home comfortably with twenty-two balls to spare.
