Bath Sign Italian Hooker Hame Faiva

Italian hooker, Hame Faiva, has joined Bath Rugby on a contract of undisclosed length. The 29-year-old brings with him a wealth of international experience, having been capped 10 times by the Azzuri and representing Italy at the World Cup in three matches.

Prior to joining Bath, Faiva played for Super Rugby side Wellington Hurricanes in his birth country of New Zealand. After completing their season this summer, he decided it was time for a new challenge and made the move to England.

This is not Faiva’s first venture outside of New Zealand; he previously had a stint at URC side Bennetton and also made three appearances in the Premiership while playing for Worcester back in 2022.
