Enhanced Electric Vehicles Introduced as Replacement for Nunthorpe

Big Evs Supplemented for Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes at York

Mick Appleby’s lightning-fast two-year-old, Big Evs, has been added to the line-up for the prestigious Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes at York on Friday. The talented Andrea Atzeni will take the reins and guide this promising contender towards victory.

In his last outings, Big Evs displayed his exceptional speed by triumphing in both the Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot – where he won by an impressive three lengths – and the Molecomb at Goodwood. These victories were masterfully achieved under Jason Hart’s guidance. However, Hart will now remain loyal to John Quinn’s Highfield Princess.

Hence, Atzeni steps up to fill the void left by Hart and is ready to seize this remarkable opportunity. Although he plans to pursue a license in Hong Kong soon, Atzeni remains focused on delivering a memorable performance.

“He’s in great form,” said Appleby with enthusiasm. “He showcased excellent form during training this morning and we expect another strong display during Wednesday’s session. I am delighted with his progress.”

The Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes presents a formidable challenge for any two-year-old; it has been over a decade since one emerged victorious (last being Kingsgate Native in 2007). Nevertheless, there is optimism surrounding Big Evs’ chances as he enters this highly competitive event carrying favorable weight conditions.
Atzeni’s appointment as jockey adds further anticipation to what promises to be an enthralling race.
