    In a stunning display of dominance, Filippo Ganna claimed his first stage victory at the Vuelta a Espana by overpowering the competition in stage 10’s time trial. This impressive performance resulted in Sepp Kuss’ lead in the red jersey being reduced to just 26 seconds.

    The Italian cyclist completed the challenging 26km course in Valladolid, crossing the finish line an astounding 16 seconds ahead of Remco Evenepoel, who is currently reigning as the Belgian world champion. Three-time Vuelta winner Primoz Roglic followed closely behind, finishing third but trailing by an additional 20 seconds.

    Kuss, who had held a significant advantage going into this stage with a comfortable lead over Marc Soler and his Jumbo-Visma teammate Roglic along with defending champion Evenepoel, faced setbacks during Tuesday’s race. Kuss finished in 13th place and found himself one minute and twenty-nine seconds off Ganna’s remarkable pace.

    Soler seized this opportunity to narrow the gap between him and Kuss by gaining precious seventeen seconds on Tuesday’s stage. Meanwhile, Evenepoel surged forward into third place overall but still trailed Kuss by one minute and nine seconds.
