Francisco Cerundolo Stuns Cameron Norrie in Lyon Semi-Final of ATP Tour

Tennis: Norrie defeated by Cerundolo in Lyon semi-final

British tennis player Cameron Norrie has been knocked out of the ATP Tour event in Lyon after losing to Argentine Francisco Cerundolo in the semi-finals. The world number 14 appeared to be struggling physically, clutching his stomach during the second set.

Cerundolo dominated throughout the game and won with a scoreline of 6-3, 6-0. Despite appearing as though he might retire early on in the second set, Norrie managed to finish the match.

Norrie had previously won this tournament back in 2022 and reached the final last year but was unable to repeat his success against Cerundolo who is ranked at number twenty-eight.
