GeT_RiGhT Contemplates Coaching Role After Retirement

In the world of Counter-Strike, few names hold as much weight as GeT_RiGhT. This Swedish legend has amassed an impressive collection of trophies throughout his career and has been retired for nearly three years now. However, it seems that GeT_RiGhT may not be done with the scene just yet.

Currently focused on his streaming career and supported by Monster Energy, GeR_RiGht recently revealed some intriguing news during DreamHack Winter 2023. It appears that he is considering a transition into coaching, despite previously declining offers in this field.

“If you had asked me this question three years ago, my answer would have been a direct ‘no,'” admitted GeT_RiGhT. He went on to explain that one of his flaws is taking too long to articulate his thoughts due to being quite emotional about the game. This emotional connection initially made him hesitant towards coaching. However, it seems that things might be changing for him.

“I don’t feel like coaching is something I’m naturally inclined towards,” GeT_Righ_T explained. “But lately, I’ve been open to the idea because I also want to continue learning and growing within esports.” It seems that coaching is becoming more appealing as time goes on for this veteran player.

During the interview at DreamHack Winter 2023_,_GeRigHT revealed that he had already received offers from various tier two teams but declined them all._”I was actually considering one offer where I would start as a player and then transition into a coach role. Initially,_I thought it was a perfect plan until it fell through,” said GeTRight._He further mentioned receiving around five or six other offers from tier two teams,_but he had set his eyes on joining a tier one team immediately. However, he admitted that this mindset might not have been the best approach._”Most of those offers were from smaller teams, and I wanted to be part of a top-tier organization right away. But perhaps I need to gain more experience first before aiming so high,”_he acknowledged.

At present, GeT_RiGhT is not actively seeking coaching opportunities as he is currently enjoying his streaming career, particularly with the release of CS2_. Nonetheless,_he expressed a willingness to embrace new challenges and learn new things in life. Coaching a CS2 team could be an exciting prospect if the opportunity arises.
