Glasspool Comes Up Short in French Open Mixed Doubles Quarterfinals, Losing in Final Set Tiebreak

Unseeded Pair Beats Glasspool and Muhammad in French Open Mixed Doubles Quarterfinals

In a stunning upset, unseeded Canadian Gabriela Dabrowski and American Nathaniel Lammons defeated Britain’s Lloyd Glasspool and his partner Asia Muhammad in the quarter-finals of the French Open mixed doubles. After a grueling match lasting 91 minutes, Dabrowski and Lammons emerged victorious with a score of 7-5 6-7 (7-2) 11-9.

Glasspool and Muhammad struggled to create break opportunities throughout the match, only managing one which they failed to convert. This loss means that Neal Skupski is now the sole British player left in the doubles at Roland Garros.
