    The Bears roared back into life with Sarah Bern reducing the deficit before Maisy Allen crossed for Chiefs, giving them a nine-point lead at half time. But Amber Reid’s try and another from Bern proved too much for the Chiefs as Bristol became victorious in their seventh consecutive win.

    Saracens secured their semi-final place by winning convincingly against Worcester Warriors despite being reduced to 14 men after Hannah Botterman was sent off early on. Carys Phillips cancelled out Poppy Cleall’s opening try before Sarries scored tries through Marlie Packer and Georgia Emily Evans just before halftime making it look like they are not bothered playing with one man down.

    In the second half, Jess Breach raced away to seal a bonus point a minute into the game while Grace Moore added a fifth late on, leaving Vicky Laflin scoring consolation goal for Warriors

    Over at DMP Sharks’ home ground this weekend, Loughborough Lightning made sure that there would be no chance of victory whatsoever for their hosts as they crushed them underfoot in an astonishing 74-0 win – including hat-trick performances by Carys Williams. Meanwhile Sale Sharks went berserk over bottom ranked Wasps club securing themselves an impressive 88-7 triumph.
