    Kaden Groves Claims Second Consecutive Stage Win at Vuelta a Espana

    Australian cyclist Kaden Groves showcased his sprinting prowess once again as he secured his second stage victory in a row at the Vuelta a Espana, narrowly fending off Filippo Ganna’s powerful surge.

    Having already triumphed in an exciting sprint finish during stage four just a day earlier, Groves further extended his lead in the points classification with another impressive performance.

    Meanwhile, Remco Evenepoel from Belgium managed to hold on to the red jersey and maintain his position as the overall leader of the race. During the 186.5km stage to Burriana, Evenepoel garnered six bonus seconds by winning a late sprint before finishing safely within the main group.

    This accomplishment allowed him to increase his advantage over Enric Mas, who currently sits in second place overall, by 11 seconds. Meanwhile, Tour de France winner Jonas Vingegaard now finds himself trailing behind by 37 seconds in fourth place.
