Marquez wasted no time finding another opportunity as he joined forces with Gresini Ducati for next season. The anticipation surrounding his debut with Ducati grew after an impressive performance during testing at Valencia.

During these tests, Marquez showcased his skill and determination by finishing just 0.171s off the pace in fourth place on the timesheets – indicating that he quickly adjusted to his new bike and team dynamics.
