Codemasters is back with a bang! Yes, we are talking about the official Formula 1 driving game for 2023. This year’s edition promises to be even better than before.

The Full Calendar Is Included!

What’s great news for all F1 fans? The full calendar for the 2023 season will be included in this year’s game. You can race around new venues such as Las Vegas Strip Street Course and Losail International Circuit right from launch day.

In previous versions of the game, you had to wait until post-release to play on new tracks, but not anymore.

Bonus Tracks?

Are there any bonus tracks? Of course! Although they are not part of the real-world calendar, you can still enjoy racing at Portimão (The Algarve International Circuit), Shanghai International Circuit, and Circuit Paul Ricard – three exciting circuits that have featured in past seasons.

A New Addition: Red Flags!

Red flags return after a long absence since F1 2014! It was an excellent move by Codemasters to reintroduce them into this year’s edition following some severe incidents earlier this season during Azerbaijan Grand Prix and Australian Grand Prix. We’re looking forward to seeing how it works within the game environment when it launches later this month.

Easier Handling System & Precision Drive

This time around, EA Sports has revised car handling traits resulting in more predictable characteristics while delivering “Precision Drive.” Gamers using a controller should find it easier compared to last year’s model where snap oversteer was quite common even through direct drive steering wheels.

The Return of Braking Point!

One thing that will excite players is the return of Braking Point. Gamers can immerse themselves in a racing story and take on antagonists while playing as young driver Aiden Jackson, who teams up with his former rival Devon Butler at Konnersport Racing Team.

New Features

Aside from the campaign mode, you still have several other features such as My Team managerial mode, revised ranked online multiplayer, Grand Prix & Time Trial options making their return to this year’s edition. Also returning is Podium Pass, now renamed F1 World featuring a new system for unlocking customizable cosmetic items.
