The Highly Anticipated PGL Copenhagen Major American RMR Approaches!

Counter-Strike 2 enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the first Major of its kind – the PGL Copenhagen Major. This tournament has generated immense hype and it wouldn’t be complete without the fierce competition from North and South America.

In a battle of skill and determination, only five teams out of hundreds will proudly represent their respective regions in this prestigious event.

The stakes couldn’t be higher as sixteen teams from both North and South America gather for an intense Swiss bracket showdown. The teams will be seeded based on their current records in the American Road to Rio (RMR) rankings, with each match being a head-to-head clash.

To secure a spot at the PGL Copenhagen Major, teams must achieve three wins while avoiding two losses that would lead to elimination. Powerhouse organizations like Complexity, Team Liquid, and FURIA will need to bring their A-game right from the start if they want to make it to CS2’s grandest stage.

Once qualified for the Major, these top contenders will be seeded into different stages based on Valve’s regional standings within each region. The highest-seeded team gets direct entry into the Elimination Stage while other four must fight through the Opening Stage.

The action-packed journey towards glory begins on Saturday, Feb. 17th during which time fans can witness some exhilarating matches unfold throughout Central Time (CT).
