As the grand stage of the 2024 Paris Olympics approaches, a curious addition to the lineup has stirred excitement among fans worldwide. None other than the multi-talented Snoop Dogg is set to grace the event in a unique role alongside NBC’s primetime coverage host, Mike Tirico.

The announcement by NBC unveils Snoop Dogg’s upcoming venture as a Special Correspondent for their Games coverage. From July 26 onwards, he will immerse himself in exploring Paris’ iconic landmarks, witnessing Olympic competitions firsthand, and mingling with athletes, their entourage, and loved ones.

“Having grown up mesmerized by the spectacle of the Olympics, I am overjoyed at witnessing these exceptional athletes showcasing their prowess in Paris. It’s a tribute to talent, perseverance, and striving for excellence,” expressed the renowned musician.

Snoop Dogg further teased his distinctive touch that he intends to bring into play during this extraordinary edition of the Olympics. With promises of remarkable competitions ahead and his signature style on display, anticipation runs high for what he has in store. This captivating stint at NBC isn’t Snoop Dogg’s first rodeo when it comes to Olympic-related commentary. During Tokyo 2020 Summer Games delayed due to Covid-19 pandemic disruptions last year; he teamed up with comedian Kevin Hart for an immensely popular highlight reel commentary on Peacock.
