Overwatch Diablo Collab Returns for Anniversary Celebration
The Overwatch x Hatred’s Reckoning collaboration launches April 28, 2026, running through May 18 to mark Diablo’s 30th anniversary alongside the Lord of Hatred expansion release. Blizzard timed the crossover to coincide with Overwatch Season 2, which began April 14 with new mythics, hero adjustments, and a refreshed perk system.
Five new Legendary skins headline the event, each transforming a hero into a recognizable Diablo class or demon. Individual skins cost 1,900 Overwatch coins in the shop, while bundles offer 20 to 30 percent savings compared to the typical 1,900 to 2,500 coin range for standalone purchases.
Four fan-favorite skins from the previous Diablo crossover return to the store, joining the fresh lineup. Twitch Drops kicked off early on April 14 and continue through May 10, rewarding viewers with Wolf Pup and Sword charms, while in-game challenges grant sprays, player icons, and the Crab with a Knife charm through daily and weekly quests.
Season 2’s Summit update amplifies Talon’s presence with mythic additions like Genji’s Sumi-Ichimonji weapon and Soldier: 76’s Volted Overdrive, though the Diablo collaboration brings no new maps or game modes. The prior crossover introduced a Lilith Moira skin several years ago, setting precedent for this expanded partnership.
