Harlequins sign Cameron Anderson from London Scottish
Premiership club Harlequins has made a strategic signing in the form of utility back Cameron Anderson. The former Wasps man, who can play at wing or full-back, is just 23 years old and has already featured for Quins in a Premiership Rugby Cup tie against Sale.
The Twickenham Stoop side’s partnership with London Scottish proved beneficial as they secured a promising prospect. Last season, the Championship team finished eleventh on the table but their player development program impressed Harlequins enough to make the move.
Anderson is no stranger to international competition having represented Scotland at under-20 level. He possesses great speed and versatility which should make him an asset to his new team.
“We have been impressed with his form in the Championship,” said Tabai Matson, Director of Performance Development at Quins. “He’s a talented athlete and we’re confident he will make a strong impact.”
