However, a misstep at the final fence caused him to stumble and lose precious momentum. Seizing this opportunity, Gentlemansgame surged ahead and triumphed by a length and three-quarters.
Morris expressed his delight with the win, praising Gentlemansgame’s exceptional jumping performance. Acknowledging that the horse was still developing his technique after only three runs over fences, Morris commended his resilience in taking on a seasoned competitor like Bravemansgame.
With regards to future plans for Gentlemangame, Morris mentioned considering Leopardstown’s Christmas festival as a potential target but emphasized the need to assess how he recovers from this race before making any firm decisions.
