Trackhouse Racing Team Extends Partnership with Aprilia in MotoGP, Aims for Dual Factory Bikes by 2024

Trackhouse Racing Takes the MotoGP World by Storm

The past two months have been a whirlwind for Trackhouse Racing, as they seized an opportunity provided by MotoGP promoter Dorna to fill the void left by the financial collapse of the RNF team. Led by former racer Marks and supported by key personnel such as director PJ Rashidi and team manager Wilko Zeelenberg, Trackhouse Racing aims to establish itself as a force in the American market.

Inheriting agreements from the Malaysian structure that were still valid, including their partnership with Aprilia as bike supplier and retaining most of their employees, Trackhouse Racing is poised for success. The commitment between Trackhouse Racing and Aprilia has been solidified through a multi-year contract extension, demonstrating their shared vision for greatness.

“We want to be more than just customers of Aprilia; we want to be partners in helping them secure championship titles,” proclaims Marks confidently. In order to maximize efficiency and collaboration, Trackhouse Racing has set up shop within Aprilia’s factory facilities in Noale.

    Ambitious Goals for Success

With aspirations of becoming one of the best independent teams on the paddock within three to five years, Trackhouse Racing is determined to attract top riders and technicians. Their plan involves managing operations entirely from Noale, where bikes will be assembled and prepared at Aprilia’s headquarters.

To further bolster their position, they are urging Aprilia to provide them with two official bikes starting from the 2024 season. While this may not have been initially in Aprilia’s plans, they are now working diligently towards making it a reality.

“Our first RS-GP of 2024 will be awarded either to Oliveira or Fernandez, and we aim to have both riders equipped with official bikes as soon as possible,” explains Marks. The timeline for availability depends on Aprilia’s manufacturing capabilities.

Excitement Builds for the First Race

The anticipation is palpable as Trackhouse Racing prepares for their debut race in Qatar. With a strong partnership with Aprilia, dedicated personnel, and ambitious goals set in place, they are ready to make their mark on MotoGP.

As the racing enthusiasts eagerly await the start of the season, Trackhouse Racing continues its relentless pursuit of excellence while embracing uncertainty and challenges along the way – a testament to their unwavering determination and passion for success in one of motorsport’s most thrilling competitions.
