This defeat sees world-number thirteen Norrie’s exit from Queens but he remains positive about how his game is improving on grass despite his recent loss. Speaking after the match, he said: “I’m feeling like I definitely turned a corner after clay… It was not my best performance today but I feel like I’m definitely improving.”
